Clare Packham was hosted (19th April-3rd June) by Hypha Studios in the empty Thomas Cook of Horsham High Street. Alongside her existing projects, Clare used her time in the space to develop a new concept around dreams and collective cultural memory. She has been recording accounts of her dreams for over a year, alongside composer Fintan Kealy. After discovering her late Grandfather had written down all his dreams, she has been interested in finding correlations in our dream worlds. She has created an audio ‘dream walk’ of Horsham town centre, which can be found here.
Together with Clare we are creating several live-streamed events on our YouTube channel. Details of upcoming live-streamed and in person events can be found on our social media, and on Clare's.
PINCHY theatre presents: SHENANIGAN!
PROCESS streamed from 9pm 29th May
PERFORMANCE streamed & in person at 2pm on the 30th May
SHENANIGAN! is a performance experiment by Andy Simpson and Clare Packham. From 9pm on the 29th May they will be devising an entirely new show. This will be performed the following day at 2pm. The writing process will be live-streamed, and the pair will be taking calls from the public to advise them. Nothing will be pre-planned; all will be spontaneous. The performance could end up being anything, but knowing Clare and Andy it’ll likely be a bit clowny, a bit silly, and a bit arty.
Disclaimer: pints may or may not be included.
